Yes, every Moissanite ring from IcedJewelz will pass a standard thermal diamond tester. Moissanite conducts heat very similarly to natural diamonds, distinguishing it from Cubic Zirconia (CZ) or glass, which will not pass the test.

Generally, yes. For wide-band rings (like eternity bands or chunky pinky rings) that are over 6mm wide, we recommend ordering a half-size larger than your normal size. A wider band sits tighter on the finger than a thin wedding band.

The main difference is longevity and shine. Cubic Zirconia is softer (8.5 hardness) and will scratch, get cloudy, and lose its sparkle after a few months of daily wear. Moissanite is essentially a forever stone (9.25 hardness); it will never get cloudy and actually has a higher refractive index (more sparkle) than a natural diamond.

We recommend removing iced-out rings before showering or applying heavy lotions. While the precious metal (Silver/Gold) is waterproof, hot water and soap scum can get trapped behind the stone settings, making the Moissanite look dull over time. It can also loosen the prong settings.

Gold Vermeil (pronounced ver-may) is the highest quality of plating available. Unlike standard "flash plating" which is 0.5 microns thick, Vermeil is a thick layer of solid gold (at least 2.5 microns) bonded over real Sterling Silver. It lasts up to 5x longer than standard gold plating.

IcedJewelz offers a 6 months warranty on stone settings. If a Moissanite stone falls out due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it or send you a replacement stone for free.
