FAQ on Moissanite Cuban Chains
Why is a Moissanite chain significantly more expensive than a ring?
It comes down to Carat Weight and Labor. While a ring might have 10 to 50 stones, a standard 20-inch Moissanite Tennis Chain can hold over 1,500 individual stones. Each of those stones must be drilled and hand-set by a jeweler. You are paying for a massive amount of VVS Moissanite carat weight and dozens of hours of setting labor.
What happens if a link breaks? Can it be repaired?
Yes. Because IcedJewelz chains are made from solid precious metals (Silver or Gold), they can be soldered back together by any professional jeweler. Unlike cheap base-metal chains which melt under heat, our chains are built to be repaired and polished for a lifetime of wear.
How do I clean a chain with over 1,000 small stones?
With so many small crevices, a toothbrush can be tedious. We recommend using an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner or a steam cleaner for Moissanite chains. The vibration shakes dirt and soap scum out from between the thousands of links and settings, restoring the "factory flash" instantly without you having to scrub every single stone.
Will the chain pinch my neck or pull hair?

In fact, under direct sun, a Moissanite chain will exhibit its famous "Disco Ball Effect," throwing rainbow flashes of light everywhere. It performs better in the sun than almost any other gemstone.
