Are the stones in these rings glued in or prong-set?
All IcedJewelz rings use Micro-Pave or Prong Settings. We do not use glue. Every single Moissanite stone is held in place by tiny precious metal prongs, just like a real diamond engagement ring. This ensures the stones are secure and allows light to enter from the sides for maximum sparkle.
Can I resize an iced out ring if it doesn't fit?
Generally, no. If you buy a "full eternity" ring (stones going all the way around) or a 360-degree bust down ring, it cannot be resized without destroying the stone settings. This is why it is crucial to measure your finger accurately before ordering. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a comfortable fit.
Can I wear my iced out ring to the gym?
We strongly advise against it. Lifting heavy weights (dumbbells/barbells) puts immense pressure on the ring band. Since silver and gold are soft metals, the band can warp or bend out of a perfect circle, which will pop the Moissanite stones out of their settings. Always remove iced-out jewelry before working out.
Why does my ring look cloudy underneath the stones?
If your ring looks cloudy, it is likely due to lotion, soap, or dead skin accumulating in the "breathing holes" on the inside of the band. These holes exist to let light through the stones. To fix this, soak the ring in warm soapy water and gently brush the inside of the band with a soft toothbrush to restore the full refractive shine.
Is the 925 Silver stamped?
Yes. All IcedJewelz iced out rings are legally stamped with "925" (for Sterling Silver) or "10k/14k" (for Gold) on the inner band. This is your guarantee that the base material is solid precious metal and not a cheap plated alloy.
What is a "Honeycomb" setting?
A Honeycomb setting is a premium technique where the holes behind the stones are hexagonal (like a beehive) rather than round. This removes excess metal weight while allowing the maximum amount of light to pass through the Moissanite, creating a brighter, more intense shine than standard drilled holes.
